Chiropractor, Clinical Acupuncture provider, Medical Compression fitter
I graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Prior to that, I received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biological Sciences from the University of Windsor. I am a Certified Clinical Acupuncture Provider and am certified in Level 1 Graston® Technique and in Webster Technique.
I believe in utilizing techniques such as joint manipulation, a variety of different muscle release and instrument assisted soft-tissue techniques, Graston®, functional screening tools, and acupuncture with the aim of improving function and decreasing pain.
I incorporate the above techniques, rehabilitative exercise and other modalities with my personalized treatment plans, using an integrated and functional approach in my treatments. I enjoy helping people of all ages achieve their personal health and performance goals. I have experience with patients of all ages, whether it is infants and their mothers or moms-to-be, children, adults, athletes or seniors. I’ve helped them with everything from neck pain to sore feet, pre and post-partum care, arthritis pain, preparing for a big race or competition, preparing or recovering from surgery, and much more.
I grew up in the figure skating community, competing at national events with precision teams. I remain actively involved with figure skating. I take a keen interest in the treatment of sports-related injuries in athletes of all ages and abilities; treating weekend warriors and competitive athletes.
I am a proud member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Ontario Chiropractic Association, College of Chiropractors of Ontario, Canadian Chiropractic Protective Association, Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and Acupuncture Council of Ontario.
