Linda Tran Registered Massage Therapist

I graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2022. Before becoming an RMT, I worked in accounting for 20 years. I always wanted to work in the health and medical field and finally took the opportunity to!

I am an “outside the box” thinking and an innovator. The skills I acquired from school and the experience working in clinics helped me find my therapeutic identity and how I do my treatments. I like to combine different techniques. such as myofascial work, fascial stretching, dynamic stretching, microstretching, Swedish massage, lymphatic drainage, scar tissue work, and make it all my own style. I like incorporating different modalities, such as hydrotherapy (hot stones, paraffin wax, hot/cold contrast, thermophore), castor oil, and Graston into my practice. I have worked with people with arthritis and joint pain, mood and sleeping disorders, pregnancy, and seniors.

I am very fortunate to be able to work in a profession where I can help people not only physically, but also mentally. As a massage therapist, I feel we can make a difference in someone’s life. Just a simple therapeutic touch can make their day. Being compassionate, empathetic, and having the intention to make someone feel better. What we do as therapists can give them a glimpse of how it feels to be at peace with themselves and give them hope.  At the beginning of the pandemic, my mother passed away and I experienced first-hand how therapeutic treatments can help. I discovered acupuncture helped balance my nervous system and Reiki helped revitalize my energy. Combined with massage therapy, these treatments helped me relax and reduced my stress, aches, and pains.

In my spare time, I watch Korean and Chinese dramas and play beach and indoor volleyball. I also love putting puzzles together and building Lego sets with my kids. And since I know the value of taking care of yourself, I make it my mission to go to the spa with my close friend once a month to just relax and catch up on life.
