Chiropractor, Medical Acupuncture provider
I completed my undergraduate studies at University of Toronto Mississauga, where I received my Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in biology. I went on to receive my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating with honours. I am also a certified medical acupuncture provider.
I am an evidence-based chiropractor, who aims to provide an individualized, holistic, and multimodal approach to care by using a wide range of techniques to cater to each of my patients’ needs and preferences. I believe a one-treatment approach is not the sole solution, but combining joint manipulations and mobilizations, manual and instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, exercise prescription, education, and lifestyle intervention is key to reaching your therapeutic goals. I believe the doctor-patient relationship is a partnership and work closely with my patients to ultimately help them get back to a pain-free life and doing the things that they love most.
I was born and raised in Mississauga, and I am excited to give back to my community by helping them achieve their health and wellness goals! I am also happy to serve the Portuguese community, in being bilingual in both English and Portuguese. I am eager to treat patients of all ages, whether it being those who crawl, to those who walk! I treat various musculoskeletal complaints, spanning from head to toe, whether it be from sports, work or accident-related injuries, general aches and pains, osteoarthritis, pregnancy, and much more. I hold a special interest in pediatric care and women’s health, including pregnancy and both pre- and post-natal care.
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, watching the latest psychological thriller, walking my dog Tobi, and, when I can, travelling the world and sight-seeing!
