Melody Hurtubise - Instructor Therapist
B.A.
Melody graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts degree, after majoring in Psychology and English, and has worked with children and adults with special needs for almost 20 years. She is currently working as an Educational Resource Facilitator with the Peel District School Board, and has worked as an IBI Therapist for Behaviour Institute and Erinoak.
Melody keeps her knowledge and training of Autism Spectrum Disorder current through training from The Geneva Centre for Autism, as well as ongoing training with PDSB. She has extensive knowledge of the Picture Exchange Communication System and knows some basic Sign Language(ASL).
