Liz
Day - Senior Therapist
B.A. (Hons), Rehab Dip.
Liz Day has been involved in IBI home based therapy for children with autism for 10 years. She is currently enrolled in the Master's of Disability Studies at Brock University and working towards a Board Certified Behaviour Analysis program. She has an Honours BA in Psychology as well as a diploma in Rehabilitation Counseling. She has attended various workshops and training including Carbone's Verbal Behaviour workshop, Geneva Centre for Autism training, PECS training and other hands on ABA, behavioural intervention and life and social skill training. She has previously lived in cross cultural settings in Southeast Asia working in the field of health care and team development; in mental health and life skill programs with adults; and held social and life skill groups with adolescents with learning disabilities. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, reading books and scrap booking memories of great times. Liz brings to the team a rich and wide experience of working with children and families.
Liz is a proud member of the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis.
