Sandhya Jain obtained her Master of Osteopathic Manipulative Science degree from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton, Ontario. Prior to becoming an Osteopath she completed her Physical Therapy degree at the University of Toronto and worked in neurology & orthopaedics, with special expertise in pediatrics. As a result, Sandhya also holds certification in Cuevas MEDEK & NDT (neuro developmental technique), as well as numerous advanced orthopaedic courses.
Sandhya practices wholistic manual therapy with the focus on treating & rehabilitating the root of the problem, be it muscular, visceral organs, neurological or vascular. Her goal is to bring the body into balanced alignment & challenge the system while ensuring optimal innate healing.
Sandhya has extensive experience in neurological conditions such as Bell’s palsy, post stroke, and neurological conditions in children. She is also uniquely skilled at treating sports injuries & degenerative orthopaedic conditions (arthritis etc), postural issues and repetitive strain injuries. As an osteopath her passion is treating challenging issues that are multi-system dysfunctions – such as eczema, infertility, GI issues & mood disorders.
